Adolf’s Test Bar Basins, Test Wedge Basins and Test Coupon Basins are made out of DuraTech for effortless mold releasing  properties and optimal wear resistance against  abrasive foundry chemicals and sand.

All of our products adhere to A.F.S. standards and meet ASTM specifications: A-48, A-536-93, and A-781. Each Test Bar can be mounted separately on the pattern or runner system. You can also pour each Test-Bar Basins vertically in a single cavity box or inter-change them with our two and four cavity basins. Adolf’s Pig Box Molds are small size ingots design to help foundries have more control over inventory and formulating their alloys. Pig box molds are light weight tooling boxes, made out of DuraTech, which provides exceptional mold releasing properties and are durable enough to withstand years of harsh foundry chemical binding agents. Our Pig box molds are available in two different sizes; Pig-501 produces a rectangular casting of 12" x 6" x 3" and Pig-502 produces a diameter casting of 10" x 2 3/4"
