Alignment Core Prints
Adolf’s Alignment Core Prints are used in Green-sand and
Air-Set molding. They are reversible and fit perfectly on either side of the
cope or drag halves. Our Alignment Core Prints are matched
on a .500 " dia. pin and have an additional .125 " height for clearance.
Adolf specifically designed these Alignment Core Prints
with a sand-trap ring on the outside wall of the parting to create a space
for collecting sand that rubs off during mold closure. These sand-trap rings
are absolutely necessary for No-bake and Air-set molding.
